Minhaj-ul-Quran International
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) is a globally established Islamic educational, spiritual, reformative, and humanitarian movement with an organizational network in more than 100 countries across five continents. Under the guidance and spiritual supervision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, MQI works to promote knowledge, spiritual development, peace, moderation, interfaith harmony, social responsibility, and service to humanity.
With a structured organizational system in Pakistan extending from local and district levels to provincial and central leadership, MQI has also developed a broad international network. To facilitate effective regional coordination, its global organizations are organized through various regional and continental councils, including the European Council, UK Council, Gulf Council, South America Council, and Minhaj Asian Council.
Minhaj Asian Council
Minhaj Asian Council (MAC) serves as the regional coordinating platform of Minhaj-ul-Quran International across Asia. It brings together MQI organizations in countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Brunei, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, and other Asian regions.
The Council was established in 2011 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. Mian Ali Imran became its founding President and played a significant role for approximately 14 years in developing the Council, strengthening its organizational network, coordinating regional activities, and promoting the mission and message of Minhaj-ul-Quran across Asia.
During this period, the Council supported and coordinated numerous organizational and regional initiatives, including visits and programmes involving Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri across Asian countries.
In 2026, the leadership of Minhaj Asian Council transitioned to Mr. Abdul Rasool Bhatti of Malaysia, who currently serves as its President.
